Mexico - Our Southern Border This country is wide open. Teams have gone the southernmost state of Chiapas and have worked in states all the way to the very north border areas of Coahuila and Nuevo Leon. This neighboring country provides a good opportunity to experience missions in many different ways.

Orphanage Ministry There are many Casa Hogars (homes for children who cannnot stay with their families) in Mexico which operate without any government assistance. They rely completely upon the gracious donations of God's people. The blessings of having a team work with them are beyond description - to both sides of the relationship. Children who have been abused, abandoned, violated, neglected, forgotten or simply were born into poverty so desparate that their parents had to give them up to keep them alive, come to these places of rescue and are healed by the love of Jesus. Teams pour out their love on these children and provide assistance with basic repairs or painting or construction work on site.
Partnering with Local Churches in Evangelism and/or Construction
Some teams work entirely with a local Christian church, assisting the church people with construction on their building, or reaching out to their neighborhood. Whether the teams go to the huge metroplex of Mexico City and do door-to-door evangelism, a carnival in the local plaza, or help with Vacation Bible School, or if they go to the small villages and have a VBS in the field across from the church, hold haircutting, basketball, or English clinics, set up a puppet show in the village plaza, the Gospel is shared. Th e church may need help putting up a roof, or the walls, or painting the classrooms. According to their needs, we serve them to the best of our abilities.
Some of the locations available are Tuxtla Gutierrez, Monterrey, Sabinas Hidalgo, and Nuevo Leon.
