Nicaragua:

Teams can work in the capital city of Managua, or travel to rural villages. We partner with CNPEN, the National Association of Evangelical Pastors of Nicaragua and have opportunities throughout the country. We work in construction, Vacation Bible School Outreaches, Drama, Music and Preaching Outreaches, clothing and food distribution, and other ministries as requested by the local churches.
Recent History of Nicaragua: Nicaragua was once the richest country of Central America, but today, it stands as the poorest. It has been hit with civil war, hurricanes, earthquakes, floods, mudslides, tornados and economic collapse in the past 40 years and many parts remain in devastating poverty. Rural pastors often receive less than $35.00 a month from their congregations because of 50-70% unemployment rates. Children don't attend school because there is no money for shoes, or uniforms, or books, or lunches. But, you can be a messenger of hope to this country.

ADOPT-A-PASTOR

(Phi 4:17 -20)
Not that I'm looking for handouts, but I do want you to experience the blessing that issues from generosity.
- And now I have it all--and keep getting more! The gifts you sent with Epaphroditus were more than enough, like a sweet-smelling sacrifice roasting on the altar, filling the air with fragrance, pleasing God no end.
- You can be sure that God will take care of everything you need, his generosity exceeding even yours in the glory that pours from Jesus.
- Our God and Father abounds in glory that just pours out into eternity. Yes.
