Pastor Carlos Vanegas and family
Testimony:
-Carlos was a womanizer and an alcoholic with a wife who needed healing.
-Went to a church when his mother invited them to go for prayer.
-Josefa was healed and they both accepted Jesus as their Savior and Lord.
-Were discipled in that church and after 12 years, they accepted the call into the pastorate.
-Have been serving in the church for 12 years and are planting another church with their oldest son.

Family: Carlos and Josefa have five children and one grandchild they are raising.  They live in a one room home made of block and wood walls, dirt floor and a tin roof.  Their son José, suffers from a brain tumor but has responded well to treatment.  Their youngest son Miguel is the only one who is able to attend school.

Finances: Carlos pastors the church and his wife and children bake bread to sell to support the family.  Their oldest son plants beans to help the family food budget.  They receive very minimal support from the church as the area is one of extreme poverty and unemployment.  Carlos has been healed of the diabetes in the past months and is no longer in need of medicine to control it.  Main food is beans and rice and bread.

Needed: Full support of $75 beginning in January, 2010.  Sponsorships may be in the form of $25, $50, or $75 a month.
