There is great power unleashed by God as His people pray. He asks us and commands us, to bring our requests and petitions to Him with thanksgiving and so we'd like you to join our prayer team. Updates will be provided monthly, so check in regularly.
June/July 2009 Prayer Reminder Points Nicaraguan Pastor hit by car, needing operation
-Pray for Pastor Vargas who was hit by a car and didn't receive proper medical care. His arm has healed deformed and causes great pain and severely limits mobility. We were able to send money for a corrective surgery and we are awaiting an update on his condition. Pray for healing and for the Lord to receive glory in this situation.
-Pray for the pastors to have unity amongst themselves so that Christ is glorified.
-Pray for Pastor Jiron as he works with reaching out to the youth in his city. They are holding Bible studies and services which have drawn gang members and drug addicts and alcoholics. Pray that they would have the personnel and the resources to disciple these precious young people.
-Pray for the safety of the pastors and their families as the enemy would seek to destroy their effectiveness and rob the Kingdom of the harvest.
Children’s Home in Mexico
-There are now 22 children in the Casa Hogar Douglas. Pray for Mario and Blanca, the directors as they lead the staff of 4 (house parents and kitchen staff) training, discipling, and giving guidance to couples who are young in the faith but deeply dedicated to the Lord.
-Pray for Mario as he seeks new workers to replace the two couples who left.
-Pray for Yesenia and Carlos as Yesenia is due to deliver their baby in August and there will be need for extra help to care for the children of the orphanage who are in their care.
-Pray for the time we will have with the three teams at the orphanage. Pray that the relationships that will be established will be ones of healing and encouragement. Pray that the times of saying "good-bye" will not be devastating to the children but they will have a sense of great joy having been with the teams.

Genesis 18:14 "Is anything to hard for the Lord?”
Dear God Almighty, there truly is nothing too difficult for You! Help us to have faith to believe that and to live like we believe it. Open our eyes to see Your greatness. Convince us daily that You are the same God who breathed the stars into existence and You have not changed nor lost any degree of Your power.Remind us by Your Holy Spirit to call upon You in our times of needs. Keep us from living our lives with a small view of You. In Jesus' name, Amen
