Doctrinal Statement

We believe the Bible, both old and New Testaments, to be the inspired Word of God, the complete revelation of His will, and the Divine and final authority for all Christian faith and life. (II Timothy 3:16; II Peter 1:20-21)

We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
(Genesis 1:1, 26; Matthew 28:19; John 1:1,3, 4:24; Acts 5:3,4; Romans 1:20; Ephesians 4:5,6; II Corinthians 13:14)

We believe Jesus Christ was begotten by the Holy Spirit, and born of the Virgin Mary, and is true God and true man.
(Matthew 1:18-25; Luke 1:26-38; Romans 9:5; Titus 2:13)

We believe that man was created in the image of God, that he sinned and thereby incurred not only physical death but also that spiritual death which is separation from God, and that all human beings are born with a sinful nature, and become guilty sinners in thought, work and deed. (Genesis1:26,27; 3:1-24; Romans 3:25; 5:12-18; I John 1:8)

We believe that the Lord Jesus died for our sins according to the Scriptures and was raised on the third day as a representative and substitutionary sacrifice, and that all who believe in Him are justified by faith alone on the grounds of His shed blood.
(Isaiah 53; Matthew 20:28; John 3:16; Romans 3:24; 5:1; I Cor 5:3; II Cor 5:21; Eph 1:17; I John 2:2)

We believe in the personal and imminent return of our Lord Jesus Christ. (Acts 1:11; I Thessalonians 4:16-17)

We believe that all who respond to the Holy Spirit’s prompting and accept the Lord Jesus . Christ through faith are born again of the Holy Spirit and thereby become Children of God.
(John 1:12,13; 3:3-5; 6:44; I Cor 2:14; Ephesians 2:8,9; James 1:18; I Peter 1:23)

We believe in the bodily resurrection of the just and unjust, the everlasting joy of the saved, and the everlasting punishment of the lost.
(John 5:28, 29; I Cor 15:11; II Cor 5:10; Rev 20:4-15)

We believe that healing of the body is possible through the workof Christ. Prayer for the sick and anointing with oil are taught
in the Scriptures and are privileges for the Church today. (Mark 6:13; James 5:15)
