The Casa Hogar Douglas in Sabinas Hidalgo, Mexico serves as home to more than 20 children currently. These children are victims of abuse, neglect, poverty, and circumstances beyond their control. Each of these little ones, upon entering the Casa Hogar, receives an instant loving family where they are cherished and cared for, as Jesus desires for them to be.

Repairers of Broken Walls has partnered with the Casa Hogar Douglas in order that we might share with them in this ministry. It costs about $175 per month to meet the needs of each of these children. This includes food, clothing, lodging, education, medical and dental care, special needs (glasses, consults, etc), and even music lessons. Beyond that, it covers the cost of paying staff members who live with the children and care for them emotionally, physically, and in every practical way, become their surrogate parents.

Each child is known by name.  They are hugged daily.  Their clothes are washed.  They learn how to bathe themselves, brush their teeth, comb their hair.  Things that you teach your children but things that these precious ones never knew about before coming to the Casa Hogar Douglas.  From kind hearts and with controlled firmness, they receive correction and direction.  Maybe you would like to be the hands of Christ to these children?  You can participate at any level.  No amount of support is too small.
